The Snuggle-Up program distributes free Snugli's (front pack infant carriers), to eligible parents of newborns.  Research indicates that infants who are carried by their mother in the front ack infant carriers at least two hours per day are more securely "attached" to their mothers than those left in traditional infant seats (83% vs. 28% Hawkins and Catalano).
